The presence of great talents converted the city in a fascinating scene that captivates in architecture, painting, sculpture and music. For the occasion, the famous venetian slippers have embraced the rich and luxurious aesthetics from 18th century Venice. These special edition babouches are traditionally crafted in lush, black velvet adorned with a golden Bosio brocade present along the exhibition.

– A Capulette Story for Mother’s Day
I wear Friulane since I was a little girl. Every time we would go to Milan with my Italian stepfather we stopped at the small atelier were the Friulane were made. Like my mother, I have always been a true admirer of Italian craftsmanship and this place always inspired me. We would buy for the entire family and at the time we use them only inside the house, as home slippers. Growing up, I started to wear them outside too. They are so comfortable, they look so good, they have this something extra that you don’t find in French espadrilles – the velvet no doubt – and in every single color and whatever I wear them with they will always remain incredibly CHIC.
After working with my mother for almost a decade in the fashion world, I decided to steer my way into this adventure, this idea that titillated me for a long time… I wanted to share with the world my inseparable accessory and so I created Capulette.
My mother, the childhood memories, the Italian nostalgia… it was unequivocal and so clear that I had to call this brand Capulette – the nickname my mother gave me when I was a little girl.
